Brandon Turner’s Best Bets: Week 15
We went 3-0 last week to finally claw our way back above .500. On the year we are 24-23-1 and we have 3 more bets for week 15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers -5 at Detroit Lions Both these squads are banged up, with the Bucs losing Mike Evans, and the Lions losing Marvin Jones. The key difference for me is the lions are still without starting QB Matthew Stafford and it’s hard to see a backup keeping up with the aggressive playstyle of Jameis Winston. Take the Bucs minus 5.
Chicago Bears +4 at Green Bay Packers The Packers have been trending downwards for weeks and the Bears are starting to get hot. I am going to deeply deeply regret betting against Aaron Rodgers with Mitch Trubisky come Monday, but for right now this pick feels spicy.
Buffalo Bills +1 at Pittsburgh Steelers The Steelers defense is for real but their offense is not. They’ve been relying on outcoaching mediocre teams to stay competitive as long as they have but, I think that comes to an end this week versus Sean Mcdermott.
