Chris Tomlinson- Eagles Writer
Chris Tomlinson was born in Philadelphia and raised in South Jersey, and has enough Philly in him that he once used the word "jawn" so frequently while teaching a college engineering course that students who'd never heard it assumed it was actual technical terminology. Students described him as "one of the best professors I've ever had," "super passive/chill but can roast you with absolute fire if he wants to," "knows his stuff," and "condescending at times." All true. He's had Eagles season tickets for about a decade, but he's been a student of how that franchise operates for much longer — watching Howie Roseman quietly become one of the best front office minds in the league, and before that, absorbing the lessons of the Banner and Reid years from a fan's perspective. That long-term view shaped everything about how he thinks about the game.
