We went 2-1 last week to get to 28-22-2 on the year. We got 3 more games just in time for the holidays to help you recoup all that cash you blew, on stuff no one needs. Buffalo Bills (+13.5) at New England Patriots This Patriots team is really starting to look old. Brady is missing passes, Edelman has lost his twitch, and Gronkowski is struggling to even move. It’s hard to see them beating the Bills by 13 and a half points when they were mostly held in check last time these teams played and that was before Gordon was suspended. On the other side of the ball Belichick has cobbled together a respectable defense thanks in large part to undrafted free agent J.C. Jackson balling out at cornerback. Josh Allen can create offense against teams with his legs though and I think this will ultimately be a narrow win by NE. Take the points.
Cincinnati Bengals (+10) at Cleveland Browns We’ve made a lot of money this year off supporting the Browns when Vegas didn’t believe in them. The script has finally flipped though as the Browns are getting a ten point spread versus an opponent they are only marginally better than. Driskel has been competent at QB for Cinci and Joe Mixon has been balling out. Expect a game with lots of yards on the ground until the Browns pull away late. Take the points.
Atlanta Falcons (-3) at Carolina Panthers The panthers have been teetering on the edge for a while but they finally took the plunge with word coming out that Cam will be sitting and changes will be made to the coaching staff in the off-season. It’s not hard to imagine their new owner wanting guys he helped pick running his organization and it could be a clean sweep top to bottom. Expect a distracted Panthers team to drop one at home versus the Falcons who seem to only want to play well when they’re eliminated.
