Gang Green Looks To Make it Two in a Row

Coming off a dominant performance against the Denver Broncos, Sam Darnold and company look to keep their momentum going against the Indianapolis Colts. In their second game of a 3 game home stand, the Jets are 2.5 point favorites. Matchup wise these two teams are not so different despite Andrew Lucks presence in this game. The Colts have the 21st ranked offense and 22nd ranked defense, whole the Jets are 23 and 19 respectively. The big edge for the Jets comes through running the football. With the 5th best rushing attack in the NFL it is up to the offensive line to control the line of scrimmage like they did in last weeks game. I think they should be able to with no real game breakers on that Colts defense. Now I’m not saying Crowell will go off for another 219 but expect a big game out of the Jets running backs. On the flip side of this, the Colts should want to run as well. As a team since drafting Andrew Luck they are 30-13 when they rush for over 100 yards. Injury wise the Jets have seemingly gotten healthy at a good point this season. But with Trumaine Johnson still out the Jets will be hurting at the corner position. But if you’re a jets fan rejoice, T.Y. Hilton and Jack Doyle of the Colts are also out today, limiting the weapons at Luck’s disposal. Last time these two foes faced off was 2016 and the Colts put a beat down on the Jets. But a lot has changed in two seasons. My big question mark is can the Jets string together 2 good performances? But I think this game matches up well for gang green and it should carry them to a victory
