Quarterbacks: Sam Darnold, Josh McCown
Running backs: Isaiah Crowell, Bilal Powell, Trenton Cannon, Elijah McGuire
The Jets will go with four running backs for this season and I personally like this lineup. You have two speed backs in Powell and rookie Cannon who has been impressive throughout training camp. Crowell is probably one of the most underrated running backs in the NFL with his power running and he can also catch balls from the backfield. McGuire will fight for snaps when he comes back from injury.
Wide Receivers: Robby Anderson, Jermaine Kearse, Quincy Enunwa, Terrelle Pryor, Andre Roberts, Chad Hansen, Tre McBride,
This is one is a hard one because there has been a lot of guys who have been impressive throughout the preseason. Roberts will serve as a depth guy and a return specialist until Stewart comes back from his suspension and Hansen will make a good slot guy especially since he has been the most improved from last year.
Tight Ends: Jordan Leggett, Clive Walford, Eric Tomlinson, Chris Herndon
This is not the most talented of the bunch but at least they are starting to get more involved in the passing game again.
Offensive Line: Kelvin Beachum, James Carpenter, Spencer Long, Brian Winters, Brandon Shell, Travis Swanson, Brent Qvale, Dakota Dozier
The offensive line will get the most players on the depth chart because they have the talent but lack durability and after last year none of them were able to stay healthy. The center position will be the one to keep an eye on as they try to find the replacement of legend Nick Mangold, Wesley Johnson last year was a huge disappointment, hopefully Long will solve that need.
Defensive line: Leonard Williams, Steve McLendon, Nathan Shepherd, Mike Pennel, Henry Anderson, Xavier Cooper, Foley Fatukasi
With the exception of Williams and McLendon, the defensive line is very thin and it is going to be about the next man up. Rookie Nathan Shepherd has been the talk of the preseason and is continuing to impress, I can see him being in the rotation but the main issue will be can this core get to the quarterback without sending the blitz.
Linebackers: Darron Lee, Avery Williamson, Jordan Jenkins, Kevin Minter, Dylan Donahue, David Bass, Brandon Copeland
This is going to be the position to watch because not only do they have depth but they also have a bunch of young guys eager to play. The major question for this, is can these guys cover tight ends and running backs? They also need to be able to rush the passer as well.
Cornerbacks: Trumaine Johnson, Morris Claiborne, Buster Skrine, Darryl Roberts, Parry Nickerson, Justin Burris, Jeremy Clark
The most exciting position out of the group along with the safeties. Skrine will have to step up this season but all around the board this will be an improved bunch compared to last year.
Safeties: Jamal Adams, Marcus Maye, JJ Wilcox, Terrence Brooks
Adams and Maye will return as the starting safeties and with Wilcox and Brooks, it will provide some good depth at the safety position.
Punter: Lac Edwards
Kicker: Taylor Bertolet
Long snapper: Thomas Hennessy
Suspensions: Stewart and Robinson
Practice Squad: Obum Gwacham, Xavier Coleman, Doug Middleton, Brandon Bryant, Antonio Garcia, Derrick Jones. Adding four cut players from other teams to round out this group
