It’s that time of the year again! After a rocky preseason which most recently had Eagles fans witnessing a 5-0, baseball-like score to the lowly Browns, some fans are panicking. Well, Eagles fans should relax a little when they sit back and meditate on the fact that the offense is pretty vanilla, there is little-to-no game-planning going on, and the Eagles have been missing many starters at the skilled positions on offense. As the exhibition season winds down, let’s take a crack at looking at how the 53-man roster may shape up after final cut-downs in August.
Here are my projections:
Offense
QB: Carson Wentz, Nick Foles, Nate Sudfield RB: Jay Ajayi, Darren Sproles, Wendall Smallwood, Corey Clement and Josh Adams (UDFA). Would appear Donnell Pumphrey’s days are numbered.
WR: Alshon Jeffrey, Nelson Anghlor, Mike Wallace, Mack Hollins, Shelton Gibson and Deandre Carter (Practice squad)
TE: Zach Ertz, Dallas Goedert and Richard Rodgers
OL: Jason Peters, Lane Johnson, Brandon Brooks, Jason Kelce, Stefan Wisniewski, Isaac Seumalo, Halapoulivaati Vaitai, Jordan Mailata and Matt Pryor
