The New York Jets will be set to take on the New Orleans Saints this sunday after a very humiliating lose to a Denver Broncos team that looked very beatable and they lost their veteran quarterback for the rest of the season. This is something that Jets fans wanted to see all year as they get to see Bryce Petty play, I would love to see what Petty can do before they decide to take a quarterback in the draft next year. Also, to see if he will have a spot on the roster next year. Another keynote to add is Muhammad Wilkerson not playing this game because of him being late to a team meeting this week, so he will sit out. Personally, I think that he should and will be cut next year because he has done this more than once already and has hurt this team. The Jets will have a tough task at hand this week but here are some keys to insure a Jet victory:
The New York Jets receivers are going to have to play physical against this Saints secondary that features rookie Marshon Lattimore and Kenny Vaccaro who both are having great seasons, both of them play physical and last week against the Falcons; Lattimore shut down Julio Jones and likely he will be going up against Robby Anderson. They cannot turn the ball over and give it to the Saints offense, who have been explosive this year thanks to their young studs in Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara. The Linebackers will have to make sure that they don’t break loose in the backfield, so look for the Jets to contain up in the line of scrimmage.
