A line this heavy always scares me but I’m reassured by the fact that Brady loves to run up the score and that the Dolphins are really banged up. They aren’t even sure WHICH cornerbacks will be lining up on the outside to face Cooks yet and who will be trying to shut down Amendola. Yes Gronk is out but Hogan is back and the Patriots are just not the team you want to throw a patchwork defense up against.
Indianapolis Colts (+3) at Buffalo Bills
Yeah we’ve seen what this Bills offense looks like with Nathan Peterman in charge. On the other side of the field Jacoby Brissett has shown he can lead a somewhat productive offense for the Colts and TY Hilton is still dangerous. This is a situation where the better team is getting points, so we take it.
Los Angeles Chargers (-6) vs Washington Redskins
Just too many injuries for Washington to overcome. They can’t stop a nosebleed right now and the Charger’s offense is surging. Also the Charger’s star pass rushers should eat all day long against the patchwork offensive line Washington will trot out to protect Cousins. Cousins will make some good plays and try to keep the Redskins in it but eventually the pass rush will become too much and we should cover.
