Week 8: John Hazelet’s Daily Fantasy

Week eight brings us an abbreviated schedule due to bye weeks. I think there's some good opportunities here to build a nice lineup. Let's get started… Quarterback Carson Wentz 7900. Once has been a Fantasy darling this year and I think that trend continues against a poor 49ers defense. At RB1, I am going to take Jordan Howard 6900. The Saints defense has been playing better but the bears are sure to run the ball early and often. Howard will have the majority of those touches and should provide great volume. 6900 is a steal… RB2 I will take Chris Thompson 6000. Thompson is a top 10 fantasy running back in PPR leagues this year. It's hard not to consider him. Especially at this value. WR1 Nelson Agholor 6000. Agholor has been Wentz's favorite target this year and he has delivered. I think this week against the Niners he has the potential to blow the doors off. WR2 Devin Funches 6500. It is still a little early to call this a breakout season for Funches but he's on his way to one. Kim seems to trust him in every situation. At 6500 I love the value. WR3 Antonio Brown 9200. The Steelers seem to be putting things together and Brown has been the catalyst of that. I have a feeling this Sunday night game is going to have big points. I will take brown in a shoot out any day. TE Tyler Kroft 5700. I love this matchup against the Colts. Kroft I seen a steady increase in targets and I think the Bengals will put up some good points in this one. K Jake Elliott 4800. This is a volume play based on the opponent. I think the Eagles should score a good amount of points and Elliott will be the benefactor. D Eagles 5400. This will complete my Eagles stack. I don't have a lot of faith in the 49ers putting up points and I feel like the Eagles will force a turnover or two and have the potential to score. Starting with the 60,000 salary cap I'm left with 1600. Hoping this lineup keeps you in the money!
