Week 6 was a complete disaster. This was my worst week in Fanduel over all since I started playing a few years ago. In the lineup I shared with you guys Winston getting hurt sure didn’t help but he wasn’t even our lowest scorer at 2.4FDP’s. This week the theme is going to be back to basics! Let’s see if I can get this thing turned around.
At the QB position I am going with Drew Brees 8300. Brees is always a threat to put up points and I like the way this offense got back to what they do well against an under rated Lions Defense last week. I am not saying they will put up a 50 burger on the Packers but I like the possibility for points. Brees averages 18.7 FDP’s per game and I think he can play at or above his average this week.
At RB I will go with Le’Veon Bell 9700. The theme this week is getting back to basics and that’s exactly what Bell did last week. I am betting this carries over to week 7. 9700 is expensive but when Bell is rolling there is not a better RB in the sport.
At my 2nd RB spot it is going to be Mark Ingram 7100. Ingram was the driving force of the Saints offense last week. It was clearly the best week of his season. I think he is capable of putting up similar numbers this week.
My first WR will be Michael Thomas 7700. This will complete my Saints stack. Thomas had a terrible week 6 seeing very few targets but I think Brees will pay extra attention to him this week. That could mean a big week.
For my 2nd WR give me Devin Funchess 6700. Funchess has quietly become Cam’s favorite target since Greg Oleson has been out. The match up he has this week vs Chicago is a favorable one. I will roll with the hot hand and hope for the best.
Rounding out the WR position I will take Cole Beasley 4600. I like this match up a lot. Beasley has been Dak’s safety net and I think that will continue. He put up 16.3 FDP’s in his last game against the Packers before the Cowboys bye week and I think he can put up close to that this week. I like the value.
At TE I am going to roll with another hot hand. Give me Austin Seferian-Jenkins 5900. ASJ has become McCown’s go to target and rightfully so. Jenkins has really upped his game and is playing the best football of his career. I can see him somewhere around 6 Catches for 75 yards and a TD this week at Miami.
For my Kicker I am going with an old favorite. Dan Bailey 5000. Purely a match up pick as I like the Cowboys to put up some points this week against the 49ers Defense.
I am going with the Vikings Defense 4700 to round out my roster. The Ravens have been inconsistent to say the least and I think the Vikings can force some turn overs and get to Flacco.
I started with a 60,000 cap and I used 59,700 leaving 300 unused.
I hope this lineup puts us BACK in the money!
