Philadelphia Eagles vs New York Giants Week 3 Preview by Daniel Farr

The 1-1 Philadelphia Eagles face the 0-2 New York Giants at Lincoln Financial Field. Philadelphia has looked very good and their second year quarterback, Carson Wentz is growing every single game. While the Eagles have looked like the best team in the NFC East, the Giants appear to be the worst team in the respected division. The New York Giants still have tons of potential and can turn it around with a win in Philadelphia, the Eagles will play against a very desperate team, that will give it all they have. Philadelphia has arguably the best defensive line in the NFL, and the Giants have one of the worst offensive lines in the league. If Philadelphia can control the line of scrimmage, this may be a blowout and the Giants will fall to 0-3. But, the Eagles have a depleted secondary if Odell Beckham Jr. gets back to full health, he may carry the Giants to victory. In this game, Carson Wentz will have zero turnovers and Philadelphia will get their run game back on track. Wentz currently has three turnovers in two games, he has two interceptions which both were tipped at the line of scrimmage, and one fumble that came from a backwards pass. Last week, Philadelphia ran the ball less than 15 times while they had almost 50 throws. Philadelphia will have a more balanced attack, and control the time of profession. Because of the Eagles playing at home for the first time this season, and the sophomore quarterback expected to play lights out, along with the Eagles having a defensive line that should dominate the Giants offensive line - Eagles win 28-17 and improve to 2-1.
