Week two was a below average as we struck out with Dalvin Cook, Austin Hooper and Stephon Diggs. The late scratch of Bradford really ended up hurting us. However if you did use the lineup you were probably right on the borderline of cashing. I cashed in a couple tournaments and didn't in a couple using that lineup… Let's see if we could bounce back this week. At quarterback give me the hot hand of Derek Carr 8400 at Washington Sunday night. Carr really impressed me on Sunday. Granted, he was playing with Jets but I love watching that guy play football. Sunday night can be a potential shoot out between Carr and Cousins. I think you can expect 350 yards and two or three touchdowns. Also consider: Matthew Stafford 7900 vs Atlanta At running back for my first spot give me Ty Montgomery 7200 versus the Bengles. The Bengals have allowed the third most rushing yards and an average of more than 24 PPR points per game so far this year. Couple that with the Packers coming off of a bad loss last week, Makes Montgomery one of my favorite starts this week.
For my second running back spot give me Christian McCaffrey 6800 against the Saints. McCaffrey is off to a slower start than most expected but I see him writing the ship this week against one of the leak is worse defenses. Fantasy players have been feasting on the Saints D! Also consider: Mark Ingram 5800 at Panthers In my first wide receiver slot I will take Michael Crabtree 7700 vs Washington on Sunday night. If you have to couple car with somebody, why not his favorite target. Crabtree might be the leagues most underrated wide receiver. After a three touchdown performance last week he is sure to be used in a lot of lineups this week. That won't stop me from starting him here. Look for 100 yards and two TDs.
My second wide receiver spot will go to Keenan Allen 7200 against Kansas City. Allan has bounced back well from the surgery last season. He came right back as Philip Rivers favorite target. I think he will see a large amount of targets this weekend.
Rounding out my wide receiver spot I'm going to take Tyreek Hill 7300 against the Chargers. I think this is a good match up for Hill. Andy Reid likes to get this guy the ball and every time he touches it he has the ability to score. I think he's a great start this week!
Also Consider: Kenny Golladay 5900 vs Atlanta
In the TE spot give me Austin Hooper. This should look for familiar as I have chosen him every week. He made me look smart week one, dumb in week two. I think he bounces back this week against the Lions team that had a lot of trouble with Evan Ingram last week. Look for Hooper to have five catches 75 yards and one score. Also Consider: Jesse James 5300 at Bears
For my kicker, I bet you've all can guess before I even say it. You know I like Sunday night kickers. Give me Giorgio Tavechio 4800. Giorgio averages 14 points per game over his first two games including one rub it in field-goal last week against the Jets. Nonetheless I love him this week against the Redskins.
For defense… I've done pretty well picking defenses this year. Week one was the Rams, week two was Tampa Bay. Both put up good numbers! Hopefully that trend will continue with the Philadelphia Eagles 4500 against the Giants. I Heard a stat this week on the radio. Eli Manning in his last four starts in Philadelphia has five interceptions and two fumbles while the Giants have averaged 10 points in those games. I'm going to double down and hope that's a trend that continues this week. Give me the Eagles at 4500. To recap, I started with a 60,000 budget. I took Derek Carr 8400, time Montgomery 7200, Christian McCaffrey 6800, Michael Crabtree 7700, Keenan Allen 7200, Tyreek Hill 7300, Austin Hooper 5400, Giorgio Tavechio 4800 and the Eagles day at 4500. That actually leaves me with a balance of $700. Hope this week keeps you in the money!
