There will be a parade on Broad St. the Eagles are World Champions

The Lombardi Trophy is coming home, the Philadelphia Eagles made history, winning their first Super Bowl, 41-33 against the New England Patriots.

What a game! Eagles quarterback Nick Foles was the game’s MVP throwing for 373 yards and one touchdown, as well as, catching one touchdown. His receiving touchdown might as well be replayed over and over again in the city for years to come.

Else where, the Eagles defense struggled to stop the Patriots and Tom Brady, but did when it mattered most. The play was there to be made and Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham’s strip sack ultimately sealed the deal.

The Eagles did it, for the first time they are Super Bowl champions. There hasn’t been a team that has gone through more adversity in a single season than the Eagles. To ultimately complete the season is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the faith, brotherhood and belief this team had. Truly a special story that will go down as one of the best in the NFL’s history. Yet again, the underdog from Philadelphia has shocked the world. The Eagles are champions.
