Last week we kept it conservative and only went with the two games we were confident about. That paid off with a nice 2-0 week to get us to 18-20-1 on the year. For week 12, we got 3 road teams we think will hit. Miami Dolphins (+10.5) at Cleveland Browns The Browns have been dealing with the media all week after the Myles Garrett fiasco and besides losing their star pass rusher they are banged up all over their defense. The dolphins are similarly banged up but Fitzpatrick will rack up garbage time points (and Interceptions) trying to throw them back into the game and he should be able to cover a spread that large.
Baltimore Ravens at Los Angeles Rams (-3) This Rams team is getting healthy and their defense is better with Jalen Ramsey, but I’m telling you right now, Jared Goff is not hanging with the MVP for a field goal. It’s not gonna happen. Plain and simple. The dude has been exposed as a bum this year, and the Rams simply don’t want it with Baltimore. The Ravens have created a monstrosity on offense, that is going to take teams at least an off-season to prep and build their rosters against. Dan Orlovsky did a great breakdown on how their TEs and Lamar’s speed puts defenses in impossible positions on almost every play. I’ll take minus 3 points and the Superbowl favorite versus a middling team any day, any week, of any season.
Seattle Seahawks (+1) at Philadelphia Eagles If the better team is ever getting points, or a point, you take it. The Eagles offense is just too slow. They badly need an infusion of fresh talent so Carson Wentz isn’t asked to slog down the field with 14 play drives anytime they want to score. Every game comes down to whether or not Philly can run the ball to take pressure off their middling receiving corp. Lately the Seahawks have been doing a better job of stopping the run and Russel Wilson has looked MVP-esque himself this season. Take the hawks plus the point.
